Rare Supplemental Grants
This program supports current research at leading institutions that need supplemental grants to gather more data sets for rare autoimmune optic nerve diseases. The goal is to predict outcomes more accurately to improve patient diagnoses, and treatment plans, and find cures. If you would like to donate to fund rare supplemental grants email rare@melliejfoundation.org.
Rare Public Education Campaign

Rare Advocates
In coalition with other rare disease advocacy groups in the USA and California, we meet with legislators to shape health policy at the federal and state level to improve health outcomes for rare patients. We are a proud member of the California Rare Disease Access Coalition.
